Jelly Beans

I stand in the grocery aisle
And see the flavors  go on for a mile
I can't help but stare
I want them all I declare
My mothers voice demands, "Absolutely not"
I feel my temper getting hot
Isn't it normal to love candy when you're a teen
Let me have just one JELLY BEAN

  1. Nice rhyming, like how the background of your blog goes with the poem.

  2. I like how you said "And see the flavors go on for a mile." It really made me imagine a jelly bean store because they have so many flavors that seem to go on forever. All in all, I really enjoyed reading your poem-good job!

  3. I like your rhyme scheme, and how you are specific, like rather than "lots of flavors" you said "all the flavors go on for a mile."
    Great job!
One thing for next time is when you declare you want them all; you need to have parenthesis on what you are saying..

  4. I really loved how you rhymed the two lines. You were very specific and I can visualize you standing in the grocery store. I like jelly beans too. Amazing job!
I like you're blog a lot. It's very you. I really like how you put some fun extras throughout the blog.
